The Most Anticipated Reality and Game Shows in 2017

This year is set to be full of exciting Reality and Game Shows. Networks are re-signing their most successful shows as well as bringing back classic shows from the past! Look at what’s to come this year:

 

ABC

$100,000 Pyramid – ABC is bringing back a classic word association gameshow with celebrity host Michael Strahan.

Celebrity Family Feud – Celebrities try to answer survey questions posed to 100 people with host Steve Harvey .

The Match Game – Originally presented by Gene Rayburn in 1962, ABC is bringing back a classic gameshow with celebrity host Alec Baldwin.

BattleBots – Contestants design, build and duel with remote-controlled machines with the end goal to destroy their opponents machine.

CBS

Big Brother 19 – With 18 successful seasons and over a dozen adaptations for different countries, why not bring Big Brother back for a 19th season? Expect the unexpected this summer!

Survivor- Coming back for a 34th season with previous winners, runner-up’s, jurors, and non-jury players! Survivors 2017 theme is going to be “Game Changers” named after previous players who have changed the way the game is played!

Fox

Hell’s Kitchen – Chef Gordon Ramsay is back for a 17th Season this year where he will put aspiring restaurateurs to the test with different culinary challenges.

MasterChef – Amateur home chefs compete against each other in different cooking competitions. Featuring judges Gordon Ramsay, Graham Elliot, and Christina Tosi. The last remaining contestant wins $250,000 and their own book deal.     

NBC

America’s Got Talent – Simon Cowell, Heidi Klum, Mel B, Howie Mandel, and Nick Cannon are all coming back for Season 12 of AGT. Tune in to watch performers of all ages compete to win a million dollars!

American Ninja Warrior – Coming back for a 9th Season. This show features hundreds of competitors trying to make it through various obstacle courses. Originally, this show was a Japanese series named “Sasuke.” It has been an extremely successful spin-off that’s renewed for a 9th Season with hosts Matt Iseman & Akbar Gbaja-Biamila.

The Voice – Coming back to NBC for season 12, this show has grabbed Americans by the heart for judging people based on their talent and not by their looks. With musical celebrity hosts Gwen Stefani, Alicia Keys, Adam Levine, and Blake Shelton.

Better Late Than Never – This hilarious reality show follows Henry Winkler, William Shatner, Terry Bradshaw, George Foreman, and Jeff Dye on their first excursion around Asia. The Second season will feature a new location, but with the same quirky characters we have all grown to love.
